Our Providers

Randy Taylor, MD, PhD

Randy was born in Germany and grew up in Ft. Collins, CO. He attended the University of Colorado as a combined MD and PhD student. He finished his medical degree at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed his residency in Otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

He lives in Parker with his wife and three boys and enjoys triathlons in his spare time.

Jeff Chain, MD

Jeff is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and joined Comprehensive ENT in August 2008. After growing up in Ohio, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science of Arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He went on to graduate from the Medical College of Ohio (now known as the University of Toledo) in 2003. In medical school he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was chosen by his classmates as a commencement speaker.

He came to Colorado in 2003 for his internship in surgery and residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He was chosen as administrative chief resident by the faculty. He won the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by medical students as a resident role model.

Jeff is active in community health both locally and around the globe. He has taken 2 trips to Phnom Penh, Cambodia as part of Jeremiah’s Hope, Christian Medical Mission to Cambodia. He has also served as medical director of the 9 Health Fair for several years at Montview Presbyterian Church in Park Hill. Currently he is the Vice Chair of Surgery at Littleton Adventist Hospital, and serves on the hospital’s medical executive committee. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, and the Colorado Medical Society. Outside of work, Jeff spends time with his wife and 3 children. He also plays tennis, coaches youth sports, and enjoys fly fishing.

Carol Langdoc, MD

Carol Langdoc, MD is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. She joined Comprehensive ENT in January 2010 and has special interests in respiratory allergies, sinus disorders, and pediatric otolaryngology.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Duke University, Dr. Langdoc attended the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas where she graduated in the top 7% of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She then moved on to the University of Florida where she completed a one year internship in general surgery and four year residency in Otolaryngology. She graduated with the distinction of Resident Teacher of the Year. For five years prior to joining Comprehensive ENT Dr. Langdoc served as an Assistant Professor and acting Residency Program Director for the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida. There she trained Otolaryngology residents and treated patients from a tri-state area with complicated general and pediatric ENT problems.

She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Women’s Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Laurie Burns, MSN, FNP-C

Laurie was born in Denver and grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado.  She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.  She worked as a pharmaceutical representative throughout the Western States, returning to Colorado in 2004.  She went back to school at Platt College School of Nursing, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Laurie worked as a charge RN at Swedish Hospital, TriCounty Health Department, and a family practice before attending Regis University.  She graduated with honors in the top of her class and received her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During her program at Regis, she was also selected to join the Sigma Theta Tau International nursing honor society.  

She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the Society of PAs in ORL-HNS.  She is also a certified provider for Botox Cosmetic products.

Laurie is excited to join Comprehensive ENT and provide quality care to patients and their families. She lives in Lakewood with her husband and enjoys being back in Colorado.
